Global Brain has made an investment in Mobility technology company WhereIsMyTransport Ltd. (WhereIsMyTransport), through KDDI Open Innovation Fund III (KOIF).
WhereIsMyTransport is a leading mobility technology company and central source of complete public transport data for emerging-market megacities. With this funding, it will deepen further its mobility data offering in the Majority World, adding and maintaining complete network data from every mode of public transport in Bangkok, Mexico City, Lima, Dhaka and Gauteng, and on target to map more than 30 emerging-market megacities by 2023.
Global Brain will continue leveraging its resources to support WhereIsMyTransport by assisting its penetration into the Asian market, including but not limited to building partnership/alliances with its potential clients.
