On the agricultural production site, an urgent need for productivity improvement through smart agriculture system is observed, given the serious challenges such as decrease of agricultural working population in Japan. However, data format of each agricultural sensors or automation tools have not been standardized and analogue data exists largely in the industry, which leads to lack of integrated data analysis and visualization of profit structure. As a result, efficiency of farm management has not been largely improved so far. For this issue, the “Right ARM”, a DX tool for agricultural data integration and analysis provided by Terrace Mile, enables forecast of harvest timing or market price estimation through integrated analysis of sensor data or public weather information. Leveraging this data and analysis, Terrace Mile provides also consulting service towards improvement of agricultural production or farm management efficiency. Global Brain has decided to invest in Terrace Mile, thinking highly of its strong mission and aspiration to improve productivity of Japanese agriculture, and its deep knowledge in data analysis or farm management improvement.
