Global Brain has made an investment in Mojo Vision, Inc., an invisible computing company
Global Brain has made an investment in Mojo Vision, Inc (CEO: Drew Perkins), an invisible computing company, through its KDDI Open Innovation Fund III.
Mojo Vision is the Invisible Computing company, dedicated to developing products and platforms that re-imagine the intersection of ideas, information, and people. Instead of being tethered to devices that are increasingly a distraction in many aspects of our lives, Mojo envisions delivering information and knowledge that is immediate but without the disruption of traditional devices. Founded by technology experts with decades of experience developing pioneering products and platforms.
In January 2020, Mojo announced that it is in the process of building the world’s first true smart contact lens, called Mojo Lens. Mojo Lens is a contact lens with a built-in display that is designed to give people useful and timely information without forcing them to look down at a screen or lose focus on the people and the world around them.
Global Brain joined the round of funding which was led by New Enterprise Associates (NEA) with participation from top strategic investors and venture firms, including Gradient Ventures, Khosla Ventures, and others.
Together with KDDI, Global Brain will continue leveraging its resources to support Mojo Vision by assisting its penetration in the global market.
