Global Brain has invested in T2 Inc. (T2), a provider of trunk line transportation services using autonomous driving systems, through its MF-GB Fund 3 L.P. (Mitsui Fudosan & Innovation Fund), a corporate venture capital fund of Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. (Mitsui Fudosan). The Japanese logistics industry is facing a severe labor shortage due to the aging of drivers and stricter regulations on working hours, highlighted by the "2024 logistics problem." This situation is becoming a significant social issue that could lead to economic losses worth trillions of yen in the future. To address this massive challenge, T2 operates under the vision of "With the autonomous driving technology, supporting Japan's logistics, together" Moving beyond mere technological development, T2 has built a unique business model to provide logistics services as a licensed transportation operator itself. T2 has already established strong partnerships with logistics companies, automotive OEMs, and infrastructure providers, leading the social implementation of autonomous driving systems as a front-runner in Japan. Since 2024, T2 has conducted demonstration tests utilizing Level 2 autonomous driving trucks with approximately 50 partner companies (as of June 2026). Furthermore, starting in July 2025, T2 began regularly providing commercial transportation services using autonomous driving trucks to companies that have completed these demonstrations. The number of users operating between the Kanto and Kansai regions has now expanded to 21 companies (as of June 2026). By simultaneously driving technological and business development, T2 is steadily advancing the creation of a system adapted to real-world transportation environments. With this newly raised capital, T2 plans to further accelerate technological development, talent acquisition, and capital investments in infrastructure such as switching hubs (Transgates). These efforts aim to launch commercial trunk line transportation services using Level 4 autonomous driving trucks, scheduled for fiscal year 2027 and beyond.
