Global Brain has invested in subsclife Inc., a company running a premium furniture subscription service for office and home, through its KDDI Open Innovation Fund III (KOIF III).
Subsclife provides a premium furniture subscription service “subsclife”. It has an extensive furniture lineup with more than 100,000 items from 400 brands expanded only in 2 years since its launch of the service. Users can use a variety of brand-new furniture and décor for the selected subscription term from 3 months to 24 months. However, the total costs during the subscription term would only be up to the list price so that users never need to worry how much they would have to pay in the end. While users can enjoy premium furniture based on their lifestyles / office-needs, they can flexibly choose purchase to own or return the items after the subscription term. Subsclife will more than ever be expected to respond different needs of the customers not only furniture for office but also that for work at home as well as ‘making the most of time at home’ needs under the circumstance of COVID-19.
Global Brain highly evaluated subsclife’s business model that meets customer needs, the achievements in building alliances with various stakeholders and its strong business growth. GB will continue supporting subsclife its business expansion by strengthening alliances, talent recruitment and many more.
