Global Brain has invested in Sagri Co., Ltd. (Sagri) through its Canon Marketing Japan MIRAI Fund (Canon MJ MIRAI Fund), KIRIN HEALTH INNOVATION FUND, KURONEKO Innovation Fund II (KIF II), and Shimadzu Future Innovation Fund L.P. (Shimadzu FIF). Sagri is tackling global agricultural and climate change issues by leveraging satellite data and AI technology.

Sagri provides farmland management solutions, including land parceling and abandoned land surveys with “ACTABA,” crop surveys with “DETABA,” and farmland matching services with “NINATABA,” all of which are powered by satellite data and AI technology. Sagri also offers farming solutions such as soil analysis under the brand “Sagri“ to farmers worldwide. They are currently expanding their business through farmland matching and carbon reduction projects, aiming to simultaneously reduce farmers' costs, increase their income, and address climate change.

Global Brain has decided to invest in Sagri not only because of its technical capabilities, competitive advantages, and track record but also because it resonated with Sagri's vision of "Achieving the Coexistence of Humanity and the Earth." Through this investment, Global Brain aims to support Sagri in its efforts to solve global agricultural and climate change challenges.
