(PAN for YOU), a company engaged in bakery digital transformation with its proprietary freezing technology and generative AI solutions, through Shinhan-GB FutureFlow Fund L.P. (SHGB) that is jointly managed with Shinhan Venture Investment Co., Ltd. (Shinhan Venture Investment). PAN for YOU operates a platform business that sources a wide variety of carefully crafted breads from selected local bakeries and distributes them nationwide by leveraging its proprietary freezing technology. The company offers an extensive lineup of over 400 types of bread from more than 200 partner bakeries (as of end of March 2026). For B2C customers, it provides the subscription service PANSUKU and a one-time purchase online store. For B2B customers, it offers wholesale distribution, OEM bread sales, and employee benefit services. With the recent surge in rice prices, the Japanese bread market has expanded to a retail scale of approximately JPY 3.3 trillion^\*1. Demand in the frozen bread market has also been growing year by year due to improvements in freezing technology and labor shortages^\*2, with frozen baked bread, in particular, being actively adopted across various channels, including hotels and the food service industry. Capitalizing on this market backdrop, PAN for YOU will drive further product enhancements by leveraging generative AI. Particularly, PAN for YOU will provide solutions to improve operational efficiency at physical retail stores through the use of frozen bread to address severe labor shortages in regional areas.
