Global Brain has invested in DAWN AEROSPACE LIMITED (Dawn Aerospace), a New Zealand-based startup building a scalable, sustainable space transportation network, through its ANA Future Frontier Fund L.P. (ANA Future Frontier Fund). Dawn Aerospace is a space transportation company bridging the Earth and space economies through reusable spaceplanes and refuellable satellite propulsion. The company has already commercialized green satellite propulsion systems that deliver advantages in safety, performance, and cost. Its propulsion systems are operating on over 50 satellites, with another 21 satellites across four of Dawn Aerospace’s propulsion customers scheduled to launch on SpaceX’s Transporter 18 this October. Building on this heritage is Loop, Dawn Aerospace’s in-orbit refuelling service, which will debut with a refuelling demonstration in 2028 and pave the way for truly refuellable satellite propulsion. Dawn Aerospace is also developing Aurora, a spaceplane that combines rocket performance with aircraft-like reusability. Aurora has already achieved supersonic flight and is planned to fly to space twice in a single day in 2027. Together, these two programs support Dawn Aerospace’s mission to accelerate high-frequency, low-cost access to and mobility in space.
