Global Brain has invested in Aroma Bit, Inc., a start-up that develops compact odor sensor and innovative services utilizing such sensors, through its EP-GB L.P.
Aroma Bit odor sensors can detect and visualize various types of odorants, which are different from the conventional gas sensor that detects a specific substance. Aroma bit QCM(Quartz-Crystal Microbalance) odor sensor and products embedded the sensor have reached to the market. The development kit of other innovative CMOS odor sensor is also available now. The market potential of global scent is high, especially strong interest from mobility, robotics, home appliances and communication equipment sectors.
