Global Brain has made an additional investment in RUTILEA, Inc., a company providing vertical AI and AI development platform

Global Brain has made an additional investment in RUTILEA, Inc. (RUTILEA), a company providing vertical AI and AI development platform, through its Shimadzu Future Innovation Fund L.P. (Shimadzu FIF) and GB-IX Growth Fund Investment Limited Partnership (GB-IX). RUTILEA is newly funded through GB-IX this time.

RUTILEA and AI fukushima Co., Ltd. (located in Fukushima, Japan; CEO: Takafumi Yano), which operates an AI development platform business, are startups that develop AI specialized for specific industries and provide computational resources needed for training AI models in developing generative AI.

Large corporations and startups are currently pursuing research and development activities to integrate their services with generative AI capabilities such as text, images, video, and voice. While the number of companies developing generative AI is surging in all industries, AI engineers have to spend a lot of time on selecting and implementing models, and building an AI development environment is a complex task that incurs a lot of costs. To address this issue, RUTILEA provides comprehensive support for users in not only selecting models but also building a development environment by leveraging its own high-speed GPU cloud.

Global Brain has decided to additionally invest in RUTILEA because of the company's social significance, high technological capabilities, and potential of the generative AI market. Global Brain will contribute to the growth of RUTILEA’s business together with Shimadzu Corporation.
