Global Brain, via KDDI Open Innovation Fund III, has made an additional investment in OPTIMIND Inc., a startup providing a last-mile route optimization service

Global Brain has made an additional investment in OPTIMIND Inc. (OPTIMIND), a startup providing a service utilizing last-mile route optimization AI, through its KDDI Open Innovation Fund III (KOIF III).

OPTIMIND provides its own cloud service "Loogia" which optimizes delivery routes from distribution centers to individual homes, etc. The service works out optimal route plans showing where to deliver in what order using which vehicle considering more than 40 constraints including delivery time specification, bringing greater efficiency to delivery operations. In addition, importing actual driving data from GPS, etc. will enable users to create routes with higher accuracy.

Together with KDDI, Global Brain will support OPTIMIND, which has a vision of "optimizing the world's last mile," in pursuing digital transformation (DX) to accelerate business transformation and solving social issues.
