Global Brain has made an additional investment in GEOFLA CORPORATION (GEOFLA), a company that provides OMO-based entertainment services integrating real-world spaces with digital experiences centered around its app called Prally, through its Meiji Yasuda Future Innovation Fund L.P. (Meiji Yasuda FIF). GEOFLA operates with the mission “Moving Entertainment—Transform every movement into new discoveries and excitement” and develops Prally, an online-merge-offline (OMO) entertainment app, that leverages location data to enhance people’s outings. By utilizing user behavior data—from daily commutes to tourism and shopping—GEOFLA creates new experiential value and collaborates with municipalities, commercial facilities, and transportation operators on initiatives to promote visitor circulation and visualize regional attractions. With this funding, GEOFLA will accelerate service enhancements and the advancement of its data infrastructure, further expanding co-creation projects with local governments and businesses across Japan. Particularly, GEOFLA aims to contribute to regional economic revitalization by offering solutions that seamlessly connect customer acquisition, visitor circulation, and spending, as well as by expanding into digital transformation in tourism and commercial facilities. Global Brain has decided to additionally invest in GEOFLA based on its product quality that combines excellent user experience with effective data utilization; proven track record of strong collaborations with municipalities and corporate partners; and strong execution capabilities of its management team. Moving forward, Global Brain will continue collaborating with Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company to support GEOFLA’s growth and contribute to the realization of regional co-creation.
