(Deeping Source), a provider of AI retail tech solutions that support digital transformation (DX) of store operations, through its KDDI Open Innovation Fund III (KOIF III). Deeping Source is leading innovation in the retail industry through video analytics using vision AI technology. The company provides solutions such as SEAL, an AI-powered platform that operates in real time based on anonymized privacy data, and PLUS INSIGHT, which analyzes store data to generate actionable insights for operational optimization. Additionally, it develops and provides AI agents to further enhance operational efficiency. Deeping Source’s technology is capable of protecting privacy in real-time and proactively resolving in-store operational challenges in the offline retail industry—an area where data collection and utilization have long faced many constraints. Global Brain has decided to additionally invest in Deeping Source that is resolving the industry’s long-standing challenges, highly recognizing its agentic AI technology. Through this investment, Global Brain will continue to support Deeping Source’s growth as the startup strives to achieve global DX of the offline sector.
