In the operation of this fund, Global Brain will leverage our strategic sourcing abilities grounded in a thorough understanding and analytic ability of IT trends combined with the solid hands-on abilities of our team from a diversity of backgrounds, in order to support the significant growth and globalization of promising venture companies. Moreover, through this fund, Global Brain will form strategic alliances with major corporations based on their corporate venture capital performance for the ongoing construction of innovative infrastructure. Finally, this fund will collaborate with Global Brain’s flagship fund currently under operation, “KDDI Open Innovation Fund”, establishing joint investments, etc., which will contribute to KDDI’s 3M strategy as well as proactively pursuing synergies of both funds.

In addition to capital, this fund will enable promising venture companies to implement innovative growth strategies through utilizing the innovation infrastructure formed by alliances between KDDI, nifty and other major corporations, as well as GB’s management support program (bizdev support, promotional support, sales support, overseas penetration support, hiring support, IPO support, etc.).
