Shigeru joined GB in 2022 and is responsible for investment execution and support for a wide range of startups. His mission is to enrich society by make the most of entrepreneurs’ creativity and technology.

Prior to joining GB, Shigeru was a corporate strategist at Sony Group Corporation, devising mid-to-long-term corporate strategy, accelerating new business through internal R&D assets and investing in startups from its CVC fund. Also, he is qualified as an IP/patent attorney in Japan with experiences in IP strategy for various cutting-edge technologies, patent application and negotiation for IP licensing and litigation.

Shigeru enjoys photography, videography and travel. His moment of happiness is when he is immersed in magnificent nature.
