Schoo Inc., Global Brain’s portfolio startup, is newly listed on TSE Growth Market

Schoo Inc. (Schoo), a company providing a platform for lifelong learning, is newly listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market as of October 22, 2024. Global Brain Corporation invested in Schoo through its KDDI Regional Initiatives Fund I.

With the company’s mission “Eliminate ‘Graduation’ from the World,” Schoo offers a community where everyone can continue learning, which is centered around an online learning service for working professionals. The company provides more than 8,500 titles of various educational content including business and digital skills, aiming to help organizations and individuals proactively learn and reskill, thereby supporting companies in managing their human capital.

As of August 2024, the number of active users of Schoo’s overall services reached a total of 1.15 million users. Its corporate service, widely used for reskilling and training and adopted by over 4,000 companies in total, is expected to accelerate the company’s further growth, along with its other initiatives including digital transformation support provided to 25 universities and educational institutions in total.

Global Brain will continue leveraging its resources to support portfolio startups in achieving significant growth.
