However, population growth, climate change, and other factors are increasing pressure on food resources, raising concerns over shortages and rising prices. To address these challenges, AlgaleX has used its proprietary technology to commercialize Umamo, an edible algae product that is a natural source of DHA, an important nutrient. The company has also developed technology to use underutilized resources, such as food byproducts, as culture media. By partnering with companies across the food and other industries, AlgaleX aims to contribute to a more sustainable food system. Global Brain has decided to invest in AlgaleX based on its advanced technology, as well as the management team’s vision and execution capabilities.
