Global Brain has invested in X Asia, a provider of a group-buying app “KAUCHE”
Global Brain has invested in X Asia Inc. (X Asia, CEO: Kempei MONNA), a provider of a group-buying app “KAUCHE”, through its GB-VII Growth Fund Investment Limited Partnership (GB-VII).
“KAUCHE” is a social e-commerce app enabling users, even online, to have fun of communication with others which is one of the best parts of shopping. On the app, users choose a product, decide to purchase it at a discounted price, then share it via SNS. When one or more people decide to buy the product, such group-buying is realized and those users can obtain the product at the discounted price. Apple pay is available in “KAUCHE” from Sep 25 which enables smoother shopping experience, and today, Android version app is released to cover a broader user base.
Global Brain has decided to invest in X Asia, thinking highly of the speed of product deployment and great team of the board of the company. Global Brain will leverage proactively its resources to support X Asia to create a culture of social e-commerce in Japan.
