Global Brain has invested in Unbereal Inc. (Unbereal), a startup providing a VR-based karaoke live streaming platform, through its KDDI Open Innovation Fund III (KOIF III).
With a mission of creating new virtual community and bonds between users beyond offline relationships, Unbereal provides VR-based karaoke live streaming app “Topia.” Users can enjoy live-streaming their karaoke by choosing from more than 15,000 songs and communicating with other users via Avatars without showing their faces.
Global Brain has decided to invest in Unbereal, as we see huge potential in the live streaming market and new type of community. We are also impressed by Unbereal’s team’s strong passion and expertise and this area. Together with KDDI, Global Brain is thrilled to support Unbereal, leveraging our resources.
