Global Brain, via KDDI Open Innovation Fund III, has invested in unmanned payment store system provider TOUCH TO GO, Co., Ltd.
Global Brain has invested in TOUCH TO GO, Co., Ltd. (TTG), a unmanned payment system provider for retail store, through its KDDI Open Innovation Fund III (KOIF III).
TTG provide the unmanned payment store system as their product “TTG-Sense” for retail companies which have problems such as labor shortage and necessary action due to new coronavirus infections in Japan. The mechanism recognizes the customers who entered the store and the products they picked up in real time from the information such as the installed cameras. When the customer stands in the payment area near the exit, the touch panel automatically displays the purchased product and the total amount, and you can shop quickly just by paying with cash or electronic money. TTG-Sense introduced this time enables a “walk-through next-generation shopping experience” and makes shopping easier even in a short time such as in the morning or between trips, where time saving needs are high compared to ordinary manned cash register stores. Can be expected to improve convenience. In addition, since labor can be saved, we aim to reduce store operation costs and eliminate the shortage of human resources. In addition, because it is a walk-through type unmanned payment store, it is possible to reduce contact with store staff as much as possible when shopping, and it is also effective as a countermeasure against new coronavirus infections.
Global Brain has highly evaluated the TTG’s technological capabilities such as People-Flow analysis and electronic payment, in-depth knowledge of the workflow in retail store, and the business execution capability. Together with KDDI, Global Brain is thrilled to support TTG in many aspects aiming for further growth.
