Global Brain has invested in SWAT Mobility, a MaaS start-up that provides on-demand transit solution, as the lead investor
Global Brain has invested in SWAT Mobility Pte. Ltd., an on-demand transit solution provider, through its GB-VII Growth Fund Investment Limited Partnership (GB-VII).
Founded in 2015, SWAT Mobility utilizes its top-class route optimization technology to develop its business centered on three products: commuter pass, just-in-time, and on-demand service, according to clients’ needs. SWAT Mobility’s routing optimization algorithms are specifically good at optimizing in cases of "hundreds of passengers," "multiple buses," and "large areas". It also presents flexible architecture at handling complex Asian roads. In addition to user-friendly passenger and driver mobile apps, SWAT Mobility also provide operator mobile apps, allowing clients to manage vehicle operation, route management, and travel data analysis through the apps and web.
Global Brain has highly evaluated SWAT Mobility's technological strength, speed of business development in Asia as well as team potential, as the market size of on-demand public buses expands and the efficiency of autonomous driving is expected. We will support its business development and intellectual property strategy for the further growth of SWAT Mobility.
