Global Brain has made an additional investment in SOFT GEAR Co., Ltd., an online game developer and a server library provider
Global Brain has made an additional investment in SOFT GEAR Co., Ltd. (SOFT GEAR), an online game developer and a server library provider, through its KDDI Open Innovation Fund III (KOIF III).
SOFT GEAR has conducted research on communication and server technologies for large-scale virtual space more than a decade and has been applying them on online game development specialized on MMO, VR/AR games. Furthermore, SOFT GEAR provides stable and ultra-high speed server library “STRIX” based on its proprietary server technologies.
Global Brain highly evaluate the well-experienced online game development capabilities and the cutting-edge server technologies of SOFT GEAR. Therefore, the additional investment has been determined. Going forward, Global Brain will proactively support and reinforce SOFT GEAR’s business development from all the dimensions.
