Global Brain has invested in SmartBank, Inc. (SmartBank), a fintech company providing pre-paid VISA Card and accompanying iOS apps “B/43”, as the lead investor through its GB-VII Growth Fund Investment Limited Partnership (GB-VII). Due to this funding, Yasuhiko Yurimoto (General Partner of Global Brain) has been appointed to Outside Director of SmartBank.
B/43 offers the ability to do things like track each user's spending in real-time, view spending by category, and get a graphical timeline of its overall expenditure.
Global Brain has decided to invest in SmartBank, thinking highly of the team’s knowledge and expertise in the industry, its broad network as well as its powerful driving force on business development. Global Brain will leverage its resources to support SmartBank to become a new standard of expenditure management and payment method.
