Global Brain has invested in Secret Double Octopus, a pioneer of Passwordless Enterprise Authentication
Global Brain has made investments in Secret Double Octopus (CEO: Raz Rafaeli), a pioneer of Passwordless Enterprise Authentication, through GB-VII Growth Fund Investment Limited Partnership (GB-VII), KDDI Open Innovation Fund III (KOIF III) and SFV・GB L.P. (SFV・GB).
Secret Double Octopus technology provides the remote and local workforce with a passwordless authentication solution for accessing enterprise assets and desktops. Passwordless Authentication is rapidly becoming the new standard of authentication. Particularly now, as many workers use unsecured WIFI networks and personal devices to connect to company networks and assets, organizations must quickly maneuver to enable access to corporate applications and workstations in a highly secure method. Furthermore, moving to Passwordless Authentication reduces Helpdesk and password management costs and minimizes IT operations.
Global Brain has decided to invest in Secret Double Octopus, as it sees huge potential and needs in Passwordless Authentication and is impressed by Secret Double Octopus’s strong management team, unique approaches, and technologies. Global Brain will continue leveraging its resources to support Secret Double Octopus by assisting its penetration into the Asian market, including but not limited to, building partnerships/alliances with its potential clients.
