Global Brain has invested in Sanu Inc. (SANU), a provider of the shared villa service called SANU 2nd Home, through its TOKYU-CNST GB Innovation Fund L.P. (TCIF).

Under the concept of “Live with nature.,” SANU offers a new lifestyle that allows people to move effortlessly between urban life and nature through the second home experience, which has traditionally been limited to a small percentage of the wealthy. SANU 2nd Home offers shared villas built uniquely amidst Japan’s beautiful nature and perfectly tailored to individual lifestyles, with a range of price points and usage options, including Guest Stays from one night, Subscriptions on a monthly basis, Co-ownership based on the number of stay days, and Exclusive Ownership/Operation that combines usage and asset management.

By thoroughly implementing environmentally conscious development, construction, and operation, SANU has been fostering a regenerative system where Japan’s forests become richer as its locations expand. As of April 2025, SANU operates 31 locations with 189 rooms, aiming to expand to over 100 locations both domestically and internationally by 2028.
