Global Brain has invested in RightHand Robotics, Inc. (RightHand Robotics), a startup developing data-driven autonomous robotic picking solutions for order fulfillment, through its EP-GB L.P. (EP-GB).
RightHand Robotics was founded in 2015 by a DARPA challenge-winning team from the Harvard Biorobotics Lab, the Yale GRAB Lab, and MIT with the intent of bringing grasping intelligence powered by computer vision and applied machine learning to solve piece-picking problems around the world.
The RightHand Robotics RightPick™ platform streamlines the supply chain processes of warehouses with its innovative piece-picking robotic solution which leverages AI software with intelligent grippers and advanced machine vision. The result is an integrator-ready autonomous solution that empowers operating teams and meets the evolving needs of today’s fulfillment industry.
As the “warehouse automation” market is rapidly expanding due to increasing EC needs, Global Brain sees huge potential in RightHand Robotics’ technological capabilities, speed of market penetration, and successful team. Global Brain will continuously leverage its resources to assist RightHand Robotics’ product development and international business expansion.
