Global Brain has invested in Reiwa Travel, Inc. (Reiwa Travel), an fully-digitalized overseas travel agency, through its GB-VII Growth Fund Investment Limited Partnership (GB-VII).
While the number of overseas travelers from Japan hit a record high in 2019, COVID-19 has forced the overseas travel industry to shrink drastically since 2020. In the context of COVID-19 pandemic, most of the industries are trying to accelerate the digital transformation (DX), and Reiwa Travel challenges also the DX of the travel industry. It aims to “design new travel”, through leveraging digital tools to realize stress-free interface going with the time or good cost-performance of overseas travel package.
Global Brain has decided to invest in Reiwa Travel, thinking highly of the team’s knowledge and expertise in the industry, its broad network as well as its powerful driving-force on business development.
