PharmaX is developing an operation system (pharmacy OS) that realizes an "online family pharmacy" in line with the trend of deregulation related to pharmacies. Immediately after patients see a doctor, pharmacists provide drug administration guidance on a smartphone, and medicine can be delivered to patients’ home on the same day at the shortest. In addition, pharmacists regularly reach out to patients to thoroughly follow up on medication status, concomitant drugs, and side effects. By directly operating YOJO pharmacy Yotsuya store in Tokyo and hiring remote pharmacists nationwide, PharmaX enables detailed design of patient experience, pharmacists’ medication guidance operation, delivery system, chat support, etc. as a whole product. Through this fundraising, PharmaX aims to accelerate the development of pharmacy OS and expand the number of YOJO pharmacy users. Global Brain has decided to invest in PharmaX, highly recognizing its leading market solution and committed management team with strong business background. KDDI and Global Brain will actively support PharmaX to contribute to its business growth through this investment.
