Global Brain has invested in PAPAMO Co., Ltd., a company providing “HEYASUPO ASSIST” online exercise classes specializing in children’s development support

Global Brain has invested in PAPAMO Co., Ltd. (PAPAMO), a company providing “HEYASUPO ASSIST” online exercise classes specializing in children’s development support, through Shinhan-GB FutureFlow Fund L.P. (SHGB) that is jointly managed with Shinhan Venture Investment Co., Ltd. (Shinhan Venture Investment).

PAPAMO is a startup with a mission of building an infrastructure for everyone to foster their uniqueness, and it provides “HEYASUPO ASSIST,” an online exercise and development support service available anywhere in Japan at any time. PAPAMO has developed original teaching materials based on the data of instructing more than 30,000 children (as of September 2024), presenting the results of those materials at a Japanese Society of Physical Therapy conference. The online service enables users to take the developmental support program at home.

Currently, more than 100 million children around the world have obesity issues. Global Brain believes that PAPAMO has opportunities to expand its business globally through supporting children in improving their physical abilities and providing exercise opportunities.

Global Brain has decided to invest in PAPAMO, highly recognizing its creativity and ability to drive the business, as well as its potential for market expansion. Through this investment, Global Brain will provide PAPAMO with multifaceted management support to further grow the company’s business and contribute to achieving its goal of building an infrastructure for children’s development.
