Global Brain has invested in newmo, Inc. (newmo), a cab and ride-sharing service operator, through its GB-IX Growth Fund Investment Limited Partnership (GB-IX).

In recent years, the aging of the workforce and labor shortage in cabs, buses, and other means of regional transportation have made the sector’s challenges more apparent. In order to realize "sustainable regional transportation from the user's perspective," newmo aims to provide new transportation services by simultaneously developing cab and ride-sharing businesses.

With the funds raised in this round, newmo intends to solve local transportation issues in various forms through the development of operation management systems and apps for customers and drivers in preparation for the ride-sharing service, as well as capital participation in domestic cab operators.

Global Brain has decided to invest in newmo in recognition of its executive team's wealth of management experience and in the hope that the company will help to build a better society through the diversification of mobility. Through this investment, Global Brain will actively support newmo to contribute to its business growth.
