Global Brain has invested in NearMe, Inc. (NearMe), a company that provides a unique AI-based shared ride service, through its ANA Future Frontier Fund L.P. (ANA Future Frontier Fund).

NearMe provides a cab sharing service that provides door-to-door transportation from the starting point to destination using its proprietary AI-based optimal routing. Among these services, the number of users of the airport shuttle service, which connects airports and surrounding urban areas, has more than doubled in the past year, from a total of 300,000 as of March last year to over 850,000 as of this August. With ridesharing being actively discussed, NearMe aims to solve mobility issues not only from the perspective of “quantity” through increasing the number of drivers but also considering “quality” through increasing the number of users per vehicle. To achieve this goal, NearMe has been working on overtourism and local mobility issues and contributing to urban development with a focus on effective use of energy.

Global Brain has decided to invest in NearMe based on the company’s vision, management team, and unique business model and products. Through this investment, Global Brain will support the further business growth of NearMe with ANA Holdings Inc.
