Global Brain has invested in nat Inc. (nat), the first company in the world to develop a 3D scanning app that enables measurements with millimeter-level precision, through its JGC MIRAI Innovation Fund L.P. (JGC MIRAI Innovation Fund).

Digital space measurement using 3D scanning is a technology that contributes to improved operational efficiency in home renovation, construction, and real estate industries. In the traditional work process, a small group of people with extensive experience in operating measurement equipment use traditional equipment to measure the distance and take many photos at each point of the worksite. In some cases, they need to go back to the worksite to take additional photos and measurements. To respond to this issue, nat offers "Scanat," a 3D scanning app that utilizes the LiDAR sensor embedded in iPhone Pro and iPad Pro, which improves measurement and recording efficiency and standardizes operations.

Global Brain has decided to invest in nat, highly recognizing its technical capabilities dealing with 3D data combining point cloud data and image data as well as its level of expertise in AI model development and learning evaluation to improve measurement accuracy, in addition to its market potential and excellent management team. Global Brain will contribute to the business growth of nat in cooperation with the JGC Group.
