Global Brain has invested in MODE, Inc. (MODE), a provider of AI-driven IoT platform accelerating on-site digital transformation, through its KDDI Open Innovation Fund III (KOIF III) and KIRIN HEALTH INNOVATION FUND.

MODE, a Silicon Valley-based startup, provides “BizStack” an AI-driven IoT platform. The company aims to revolutionize business operations and contribute to social advancement by promoting the utilization of on-site data across various industries, particularly in manufacturing, logistics, and construction.

In June 2023, MODE unveiled “BizStack Assistant,” conceptualized as “an AI assistant with the deepest understanding of real-world operations.” This solution bridges generative AI with the physical world through operational data, supporting on-site work processes through natural language interactions that adapt to rapidly changing workplace conditions. With its unique combination of generative AI and IoT capabilities—a distinctive solution even in global markets—MODE is planning to accelerate its full-scale business expansion into the US market.

Global Brain’s investment decision was driven by MODE’s talented global team, which brings together top-tier engineers from Silicon Valley and Japan under the leadership of a Japanese CEO, as well as their technical development capabilities and solutions that support operational DX across various industries.
