Global Brain has invested in medigle Co., Ltd. (medigle), a patient referral software provider striving to drive regional medical coordination, through its Meiji Yasuda Future Innovation Fund L.P. (Meiji Yasuda FIF).

As medical costs keep increasing and medical resources are becoming scarce due to aging society, the importance of regional medical coordination, in which clinics and hospitals refer patients to each other, is growing. By optimizing medical resources through regional medical coordination, each medical institution can provide services according to its specialty. While the patient referral process within the regional medical coordination framework still involves many manual operations, the company offers “medigle Reservation,” which enables online booking for patient referrals, and “medigle CRM,” which enables sharing customer information within hospitals and analysis of patient referral data.
