Global Brain has invested in Kreation, a NFT game and content developer, as the lead investor

Global Brain has invested in Kreation Verse Inc. (a Delaware corporation, together with its wholly owned Japanese subsidiary, Kreation Inc., hereinafter referred to as “Kreation”), a NFT game and content developer that is aiming to become a global web3 publisher, through its GB-VIII Growth Fund Investment Limited Partnership (GB-VIII) as the lead investor.

Established in 2021, Kreation is based both in Japan and the US to bring Japanese brands and content to the global market. So far, it has produced NFT for a Paris Collection brand, Maison Mihara Yasuhiro, and developed NFT projects that connect fashion and Web3 including a cyber fashion label, THE HOUSE OF INSOMNIA. In September 2022, Kreation launched the “Twelve Anonymous Tournaments” (TAT), a game-type NFT project, as an initiative to connect IP content from Japan and Web3. Involving key figures in the game industry such as Jiro Ishii for transmedia producer and Tatsuro Iwamoto for character design, the company released part of the fighter NFT art collection inspired by a fighting game, which has gained a large number of followers from the US, Japan, and other Asian countries.

Through this fundraising, Kreation will accelerate the game development for “TAT,” the fighting-game NFT project. The company has released a Discord version test game and aims to launch a mobile game version in 2024.

Global Brain has decided to invest in Kreation, highly recognizing its "Free-to-Play" game know-how and network in game industry and expecting the company to bring IP content originating from Japan to the world. Through this investment, Global Brain will provide comprehensive management support for the further business development of Kreation.
