Flow Neuroscience is a Delaware-incorporated digital therapeutics startup (with operations originated from Sweden) which has developed an innovative medical-grade homecare device combining transcranial Direct Current Stimulation and cognitive behavioral therapy to provide a non-pharmaceutical remote treatment for depression. To combine the therapeutic device with digital app that delivers cognitive behavioral therapy, Flow Neuroscience increases therapeutic efficacy and enables the device to obtain CE-mark. The device has been sold in EU. This real-world therapy shows 85% of people feel better within three weeks and 30% of people recover from depression, respectively. Flow Neuroscience is to utilize the real-world evidence, to pursue further development of the device and the digital therapeutics, and to acquire reimbursement to deliver effective treatment to 260 million people who suffer from depression all over the world. The Global Brain Corporation decided on this investment based on the potential of the great management team who has strong R&D and on the huge depression market.
