Global Brain has invested in Digital Entertainment Asset Pte. Ltd. (DEA), a Singapore-based global GameFi company, through its KDDI Open Innovation Fund III (KOIF III).

DEA operates the GameFi platform "PlayMining" with a vision to shape a new culture and future economy through the power of entertainment and technology. Since its launch on May 26, 2020, the platform has grown to become a significant player, attracting over 2.7 million users from more than 100 countries worldwide as of July 2023. Remarkably, DEAPcoin is the first Play to Earn token to be circulated in Japan, and "PlayMining" stands as the world's pioneering Play to Earn token economy, taking the lead in the global GameFi domain.

Global Brain is deeply impressed by DEA's well-balanced management team and their vision. Through this investment, Global Brain will collaborate with KDDI to provide comprehensive support to promote further GameFi's mass adoption and the societal implementation of Web3.0.
