Global Brain has invested in Deltan Inc. (Deltan), a solution provider for the dental industry, through its GB-IX Growth Fund Investment Limited Partnership (GB-IX) as the lead investor.

Deltan is a startup that develops and provides a dental ordering SaaS product to transform the dental business through digital technology and also offers dental equipment materials. While the dental care market is huge and estimated to be worth over 4 trillion yen, it is very fragmented, with approximately 68,000 dental clinics and 20,000 dental laboratories, and its distribution structure is formed in multiple levels and layers. Following the recent reform of the health insurance system in Japan, however, digital transformation in the dental care market is steadily progressing. In such an environment, Deltan has been leading the industry transformation by offering a SaaS product at competitive prices to transform analog data exchange between dental clinics and laboratories, selling dental equipment and materials, and developing and providing other innovative solutions. Since the official launch of its dental ordering SaaS “DELTAN ORDER” in March 2024, many companies have started to use its product, which highlights Deltan’s contribution to the industry’s improved operational efficiency.
