Global Brain has invested in Deeping Source, a data anonymization technology provider
Global Brain (GB) has invested in Deeping Source Inc. (CEO: Pete Tae-hoon Kim), a data anonymization technology developer, through its KDDI Open Innovation Fund III.
While a huge amount of data is necessary for artificial intelligence, privacy laws have rapidly become a touchy issue, with people expressing concerns over what would happen with their personal data. It would be a greater need for protecting private information in data and protecting the data itself in the distribution process.
Deeping Source has technology for removes personally identifiable information from data while preserving use for machine learning and analytics.
Together with KDDI, GB will continue leveraging its resources to support Deeping Source by assisting its penetration in the global market.
