Global Brain has invested in Bounce Inc., a luggage storage marketplace

Global Brain has invested in Bounce, Inc. (Bounce), a luggage storage marketplace, through its KURONEKO Innovation Fund II (KIF II) and KDDI Open Innovation Fund III (KOIF III).

Bounce operates one of the largest marketplaces for luggage storage by connecting travelers with underutilized retail space. As of December 2024, Bounce is currently available in over 4,000 cities globally including Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto. With the fundraising, Bounce plans to rapidly expand its footprint in Japan in more cities and opening Bounce’s Tokyo office. Bounce was named the fastest-growing privately-held travel company in the US by Inc5000^*1 this year.

Global Brain has decided to invest in Bounce, recognizing Bounce’s execution and leadership in the luggage storage space. Through this investment, Global Brain will assist Bounce’s market expansion into Japan.
