In recent years, the risk of aircraft encountering turbulence has increased due to the effects of global warming. Addressing this challenge, BlueWX has developed a turbulence prediction model with significantly higher accuracy than conventional models. This model is based on joint research conducted by Keio University and ANA Holdings Inc. It has already been trialed within the ANA Group, demonstrating its effectiveness. Leveraging this technology, BlueWX aims to enhance operational safety in the aviation industry, reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, and achieve cost savings.
