Global Brain has invested in BitStar Inc., a social media marketing platform and D2C company

Global Brain has invested in BitStar Inc. (BitStar), a social media marketing platform and D2C company, through its KDDI Open Innovation Fund III (KOIF III).

BitStar provides social media marketing services and has aimed to be the representative platform in creator economy industry since 2014. Starting with an agency and platform for influencer marketing, its business has expanded to content production and studios as well as D2C business in the beauty and fashion fields. As of the end of June 2023, BitStar has supported over 6,000 creators and over 1,800 clients, making it one of the largest creator economy companies in Japan. Through this fundraising, the company not only plans to invest in existing business, but also to grow via M&A and business alliance.

Global Brain has decided to invest in BitStar, recognizing its growth potential and influence in the growing creator economy industry by using data technology as its weapon. Through this investment, Global Brain will collaborate with KDDI to provide comprehensive support to BitStar’s future business growth.
