Global Brain (GB) has invested in Bitkey Inc. (Bitkey, CEO: Yuki Ejiri, COO: Masaki Fukuzawa, CCO: Masanori Hotsuki), key technology startup providing smart lock, which enables people to use various services while absence such as delivery or housework, through its GB-VII Growth Fund Investment Limited Partnership (GB-VII) and 31VENTURES Global Innovation Fund I (31VENTURES).
Bitkey is aiming to connect everything through only one ID, leveraging its digital key platform named “bitkey platform”, which enables us to identify and authorize to use various rights belonging with different IDs. Bitkey’s first product on sales, “bitlock Series” smart locks, aims to digitalize the existing locks, but also to make drastic changes in our lifestyle and to enrich our human life, through enabling people to use various services during absence such as parcel delivery, cloth cleaning or housework.
GB has highly evaluated Bitkey’s growth speed at an amazingly fast pace, business development capability, and organizational capability. GB will leverage its resources to support Bitkey’s growth in Japan as well as business development in overseas.
