Global Brain has invested in Beleaf Farms Pte. Ltd. (Beleaf), a Farming as a Service provider in Indonesia, through its Norinchukin Innovation Fund L.P. (NCIF).

Indonesia is one of the world’s leading agricultural countries, with its rapid economic growth backed by abundant natural resources and labor force. However, there are still significant challenges in farmers' productivity and distribution of agricultural products. Given the situation, Beleaf aims to support local farmers' farming activities and promote sustainable agriculture, as well as deliver fresh and healthy products to consumers.

Beleaf started its operations in 2019 as a hydroponic farm with IoT technology. Using the expertise gained from the farming operations, Beleaf developed and started implementing a new program, Farming as a Service, in 2022. While improving partner farmers' productivity through advanced IoT and operating systems, Beleaf purchases cultivated high-quality products and distributes them locally and internationally. Thus, Beleaf makes significant contributions to both agricultural producers and consumers.

Global Brain has decided to invest in Beleaf, thinking highly of its deep knowledge of agricultural production and food distribution, innovative business concepts, and impressive technology-oriented products. Through this investment, Global Brain will actively work with Beleaf to improve agricultural production efficiency, promote food distribution system, and contribute to the smart agricultural ecosystem in Indonesia.
