BackTech provides “Pocket Therapist®” as a well-being platform that starts with measures to relieve stiff shoulders and lower back pain, targeting companies that promote health and productivity management. Stiff shoulders and lower back pain are major causes in lowering labor productivity of employees, and the number of people with mental and physical disorders is increasing due to environmental changes in recent years. Based on the medical evidence cultivated at the Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University, the company visualizes work engagement and labor productivity, and provides a one-stop service to help employees in reducing physical and mental health problems caused by stiff shoulders and lower back pain for better mental and physical health. Global Brain has decided to invest in BackTech for the superiority of its products created based on evidence, management team with wide networks in the industry and government, and depth of needs for improving labor productivity of employees.
