Global Brain has invested in Airporter, Inc., a logistic software company providing same-day baggage delivery service between hotels and airports, as a lead investor

Global Brain has invested in Airporter, Inc. (Airporter), a logistic software company providing same-day baggage delivery service between hotels and airports, through its 31VENTURES Global Innovation Fund I (31VENTURES).

Airporter provides SNS-based customer service and a delivery system that fulfill high demand “same-day delivery”, which addresses the customer’s pain point of “limitation on sightseeing time and places when traveling with luggage”. Customers can input their desired pick-up and drop-off hotel/airport information, the number of luggage and make payment online. This frees the hotel staff from writing shipping slips, measuring/weighing the luggage, and processing payment at the front desk. Airporter’s hotel network covers more than 65,000 rooms with considerable hotels in Kanto, Kansai, and Okinawa.

Global Brain highly evaluated the service model to accurately captures customer’s needs, alliance network with various stakeholders that Airporter built up so far, as well as tourism market growth potential. Through this investment, Global Brain shall support enhancing the company structure and business planning, as well as its alliance network’s collaboration.
