Global Brain has invested in AGRIMEDIA Inc. (AGRIMEDIA), a company providing “Share-Batake” serviced community gardens and “Agri-Navi” job matching for agricultural sector, through its 31VENTURES Global Innovation Fund II (31VENTURES).
AGRIMEDIA is a Japanese company doing agriculture-related business with its mission “Making Agriculture Fruitful Business”. “Share-Batake” has been serving as a bridge between urban landlords who have difficulty in maintaining their farmlands and urban residents who want to enjoy growing vegetables. The service was launched in 2012 and has been deployed 97 gardens in the Greater Tokyo area and Kansai area. “Agri-Navi” was launched 6 years ago and currently has over 70,000 subscribers (job seekers) and over 4,200 clients (farmers and agricultural corporations) from north to south. AGRIMEDIA also provides retail operations services and consulting services.
