Global Brain has invested in Aeronext Inc. (Aeronext), a developer of the new smart logistics infrastructure “SkyHub®” that integrates drone and land transportation, through its Canon Marketing Japan MIRAI Fund (Canon MJ MIRAI Fund).

Aeronext is a startup aiming to solve logistic issues in underpopulated areas in a time of declining population and create unprecedented value by utilizing low-altitude airspace under its mission of “a new societal infrastructure for the 100-year life era, a world where enrichment is spread to every corner of the world.” Aeronext offers its proprietary “4D GRAVITY®” airframe structure design technology as a licensed package to drone makers, and it also conducts joint development as well as contracted development of drone-related technologies. In addition, through NEXT DELIVERY Inc., a strategic subsidiary founded in 2021, Aeronext has integrated drone and land transportation, operating the new smart logistics “SkyHub®” business that consolidates and streamlines regional logistics and a drone operation business driven by an expert team possessing cutting-edge technologies with over 200^* registered patents and boasting one of the best flight records in Japan. The “SkyHub®” business has already been implemented in multiple regions in Japan, contributing to solving the logistics issues faced by local communities.
