Global Brain has invested in Activ8 Inc. (Activ8), a virtual IP producer and virtual content creator, through its KDDI Open Innovation Fund III (KOIF III).

Activ8 is a metaverse entertainment company with the mission of “Choose Your World.” It produces and creates a variety of leading IPs leveraging its producing and technological capabilities that created “Kizuna AI,” the origin of VTubers. Activ8 aims to bring science fiction into the real world and be a company that attracts people all over the world in the field of Metaverse and Entertainment.

Global Brain has decided to invest in Activ8, highly recognizing its technological capabilities and extensive track record. Through this investment, Global Brain will work with KDDI to provide multifaceted management support for Activ8’s business expansion and future growth.
