Global Brain has invested in 10X, Inc. (10X), a provider of cloud-based software, through its Global Brain Flagship Fund IX as the co-lead investor.

This round of funding was also joined by KDDI Open Innovation Fund III (KOIF III), Canon Marketing Japan MIRAI Fund (Canon MJ MIRAI Fund), and TAKANAWA GATEWAY Global Co-Benefits Fund L.P. (TAKANAWA Fund).

10X is committed to its mission of Unlocking the Future of Retail by addressing the structural challenges faced by the retail industry, such as population decline, labor shortages, and delays in digital transformation. The company’s online grocery support platform called Stailer has been adopted by major retail chains, achieving rapid growth with an annual gross merchandise volume (GMV) in the tens of billions of yen and a GMV growth rate of approximately five times the market average. Many retailers using Stailer have also seen improvements in profitability, and 10X is highly regarded not only for providing a system but also for its commitment to sustainable business support. With this latest funding round, 10X plans to further enhance Stailer and accelerate the development of new digital transformation products for the retail sector.
